Default h/c feels slow, will gears wake it up?

I guess i've just gotten used to it, 390tq and 420hp through a m6 and stock rear end gears. Car doesn't feel as fast or as fun, I want to maybe throw some gears in it if it will wake the car up and make it feel faster. Or should i just go with some no2?

Gears are permanent, N2o is temporary. How long have you been driving it the way its set up ?? Reason I ask is that I was wondering how long it took you to get bored. 420 rwhp 390 rwtq is pretty reasonable. Is that cam only, or do you have a mild h/c setup already. I you are cam only, I'd say add some afr 205's. Do you have all boltons including ud pully and ewp ?? Pully and ewp could add 10-15 rwhp and lets your motor rev quicker and gives you better gas mileage too. What intake ??

Yes gears will wake it up a lot! I had the same problem I did heads and cam and it just didn't seem fast enought so I put 4.56s in mine! Lmao that was fun for awhile but got boring so now I'm going with a 200 shot! Haha its just addicting no matter what you do you'll always want more might aswell just buy a jet because in the end the money you've spend on trying to get faster and faster you could have just bought one but who wants a jet?! Not me! Lol

What are the cam specs. There is an operating range for the cam. This will Point you in a direction to what gears are best. Many cam companies will recommend what to start with. With your HP and TQ, I bet 4.10s would be the ****! If your TQ Band is relatively flat, the 3.73s would stop the boredom. What is your tire size? This would work in conjunction with the gears and cam combo for the best acceleration.
