Default Roll bar is done!

Finally.. It's done, well almost.. He has to finish welding the door bars and then off to the paint booth..

wow looks great! I am jealous.

I want race seats and a cage sooo bad, I need to just do it. my car is gonna be a daily driver for awhile, so I figure it will happen at some point.

False advertisement... I don't see a cage anywhere. It looks like a rollbar.

LOL, guess it depends on who you talk to.. Some call an 8 point a cage, others a roll bar..

If the bars go over your head its a cage, if not its a bar. None the less clean install, congrats!

Looks very nice!

BTW, as mentioned above, you can have an 8-point roll bar or an 8-point cage. Cages incorporates the upper halo and front pillar/down bars. It's a common mistake, as even some magazines can't seem to get it right.

Very nice work
Keep us posted on the painting. I'm having one fabbed this weekend and I'm not entirely
sure how I'm going to go about painting it while it's in the car. (lots of tarp, newspaper and masking tape, I guess)

yes it is.. Someday it may be race only, but for now I enjoy cruisin it and hitting the track now and then. Opted for the roll bar when I broke into the 11's, decided it was time for some safety features, t-tops do not provide much protection..
