could stiffer valve springs cause false knock?

could stiffer valve springs cause false knock? like it says?, I get about 4kr and I'm thinking its cause of the valve springs, I can hear them going clickidy clack everything is torked properly and I'm wondering if it would be a good ideaw to periodicly check for kr but in the mean time turn off the knock censors with ls1 edit, if its possible, and would that give me my regular timing?, thanks
