Default Is my home depot intake costing me power?

Is my home depot intake costing me power? it is just 3" pvc with 45 degree elbow to a cone filter. Would I gain anything by switching to a k&n?

If it is smooth the whole way and there isn't gaps in the PVC where the sections joined, you should be just fine, and the actual difference I highly doubt would be noticeable. But that's just me

I would do the LS1 lid. You would probably notice a difference going to that, but I would guess no difference going from what you have, to a Moroso, etc.

If you mean it is just a short ram "L" coming off the TB, when the car warms up you will gain power with a true CAI because it will not be sucking in heatsoaked air from right in front of the engine.
