Default Z06 Wheel Issues.

I have a 02 Z28 and just got some Z06 wheels from a 02 Z06. They came with a 315-35-18 Nitto Drag Radial on the back and a 275-40-17 Nitto drag Radial in the front. I took a hammer to the inner fender to give a little room. I would like to have about the same size sidewall in the front and the back and I dont really want a different size tire in the back, I like the one that is on it. Would a 275-35-17 accomplish the look that I want? The back is still rubbing a litle when im hammer down in a corner. Would I be able to run about a 1/4 inch wheel spacer to fix this problem or would that put my tire into my finder lip? Also are the stock lugs long enough to fit a wheel spacer if I go with that idea?

First thing you want to do it remove the drag radial from the front...you could go with a 255-40-17 for a slightly smaller sidewall

Is the rear centered with an adjustable PH Bar?

And no on the spacer with stock studs. The factory studs are not threaded to the end and it would be too short.

I wouldn't recommend a spacer unless you went with ARP studs.

well i just went through this kinda smething with my zo6's. i ran a 1/4" spacers for the rear and it seemed to help a little and it looks great, but i still am going to half to do a little room making. if i get to crossed up it rubs slightly.

Its stock suspension. I don't think that it is adjustable.

Don't the rear fenders on Firebirds stick out a bit more than the Camaros?

My 01 Z28 is lowered with Eibach sportlines and the factory ph bar. I use a 3mm spacer and they clear. I am running the F1 Supercar Goodyears that came on my Z06.

I believe....Not 100% would have to look it up.

And if you want the same size side wall buy the same tire... I also second moving the DR to the back
