bought a trans rebuild kit but dont have anybody to rebuild it for me, i dont have much money and i dont wanna take that task on myself.

anyone willing to rebuild my trans we can work out some type of payment?

I'm doing pretty much the same to my impala so far I took all the crap off from the engine bay. And completely gutted the interior. I'm just gonna add lw carpet, a kirkey seat and a chris alston moly roll cage. (Yes they make it for impalas 2!!!) its looking good tho what do u have done to the motor?

once didnt u have a iroc ? i believe ive seen u on the 3rdgen boards

i like those gauges and the way you laid them out.

i wanna put a 4 point in it later on.

um the motor is pretty much stock bottom end, 1.6 stamped rockers,decent size cam, 2000 vortec heads, ebay intake, ebay HEI dist, holley 670cfm carb, a/c and smog delete, and Hedman LT hedders.

gonna be buying some slicks off my buddy, tryin to decide what size stall i want(thinkin around 2800) and maybe later a shot.

How much were ur headers? I have a friend who is looking for some for his 94vette, and only found like 2 people who seel them. do u happen to know if they have any for that year of vette?

i boguht the headers from summit. theyre hedmans and they were only like $178 shipped i believe. have him check on there to see if they have his year

yup thats bodywerkz, i get all my exhaust work and some body work there. he does great work and pretty much anythign you think of he can do it.

he did a crazy custom cold air intake for my iroc before.

nice setup. I'm doing something similar on my 91 RS but instead of ditching crossfire i'm ditching tbi

oh that was my buddy. yeah he did that on purpose. which is funny cause he was building a mustang with a LQ9 but he traded it for a datsun and is now puttin that motor in it.

If u need clearance get a drop base air filter. With my old setup my hood wouldn't close. I ordered a k&n 1 1/4 drop base and that took care of the problem. The drop base was around 20 or so dollars.

i do have the drop base. its hitting on the wingnut. i either have to find a flat top for the air cleaner or my friend gave me the idea of gettin rid of the dip in the hood and just makin it flat.

Autozone sells these kits for that air cleaner bolt and wing nut. I bought one and they have different lengths. I was able to make mine work with the smaller one. They have them in the "performance" section there where all the chrome stuff is. I also was able to get a differnt type of wing nut there that worked better. The screw on mine just barely sticks out enough for the nut to thread on it a bit.

yeah im gonna try one of those.i know what your talkin about (chrome section) haha. i hate that all that stuff is chrome. so cheesy and not good for motors.

Yeah they're pretty useful it comes with a kit of about 5 different lenghts and it also has a nut to put two of those screws together to make your own sizes.

i think another thing is i didnt have the tranny bolt up so i dont even know if thats the correct angle of the car. it might drop down a little more after i put the tranny on. if not ill think of something. maybe seal the air cleaner to the hood. the great thing abotu the 84 vette hoods is they have to little vents that go right up to where the air cleaner is. sort of a ram air affect.

it wasnt rubbing much cause i got the hood to close without really pushing on it.

on mine it would not close at all before the drop base lol. it would just sit on the air cleaner and would not latch.

got some new 5 way adjustable shocks (painted them cause i didnt like the white and pink)

yeah just a 350. not exactly sure on CR at the moment. hopin to make 3-350 to the wheels after dynotuning.

i ended up gettin the trans built for a pretty good price.
