Default Need help with TH350

Ok I have a TH350 I am having problems with. I am no transmission expert so please forgive me if I mess something up. Well here is the problem I have a broken part on the tranny I believe it is called the Intermediate servo piston sits right under the Direct clutch 2-3 accumulator on the valve assy.

Well the servo is cracked in 3 places and the the seals and everything is cracked. I believe it was cracked when it was being rebuilt did not get seated right before they put the Valve assy on. Well I was wondering if I would be able to buy just the Intermediate servo piston assy or will I need another rebuild kit?

I have had no luck finding the part yet but have not really searched to hard being its the weekend. Also is that the right name for the part I believe the Tranny is an 1988 if that helps. Sorry if this sounds confusing like I say I am no expert at this. Thanks for the help.

Part that falls off when you remove the Valve body has a spring on it and it slides on a shaft. And is inside the case.

ok thats the intermediate overun band servo. Dont see them cracked or broken much odd. You should be able to order one from a parts supplier like "WIT" or a local older trans shop may have one laying around. They do not come in rebuild kits .

I used to have boxes of that kind of stuff. If I needed one I could go tomorrow morning and get a core th350 (a complete rebuldable trans) for $20 from a junkyard I always go to, and take the piston out of it then have a pile of other spare parts.
Or like said above, try a private owned, non chain store type shop. They usually will sell you one. Although some have said th350's are hard to come by, I know where theres a pile of them.

Theres a few options for you.
