Default Got handled by an audi

So I got a decent race today on my way home, I see a black audi flying up behind me trying to pass up all the traffic, We were both in the left lane. I was going about 70 since there is a lot of cops out today, but I was passing the last car to the right of us and knew he would be blasting by as soon as he cleared it too. I drop to 3rd to get prepared for this move.

Well, he jumps one lane to the right and gets next to me, looks at me then floors it. I go too, and by around 110 he had maybe 5 or 6 cars on me. He pulled HARD. I don't know what was done to it, but it was a black audi wagon with a silver and red emblem on the nose, it was lowered and looked good. The guy gave me a thumbs up and hopped off an exit. I could have dropped to 2nd at that speed but I don't think it would have helped.

My mods are in sig.

Taking a guess that it was a Modded RS6.......I heard that they can be really fast with minor mods. or maybe your driver gasket is leaking???

No shame in that death. There are some quick Audis out there. If it was a wagon it definitely wasn't an RS6 though. Audi never brought the "Avant" version of the RS6 to the USDM - just the sedan. They are very rare but a great cruising car if you can locate one with low miles. Maintenance is nuts but that's expected on a 500hp TT 4.2L V8 with AWD from Germany.

Maybe you came across an Audi S4 4.2 Avant quattro. Did it look like this or was it older looking?

It looked sort of like that, but smaller. Not entirely sure what it was, but it had a turbo that I could hear over my car, which is pretty damn loud.

The A3 is smaller and has a 2.0L turbo. Maybe that's what it was. I know they make good lowend power (without lag) but at the risk of poor topend power. Sounds like the one you ran into was heavily modified...

Thats what it looked like right there. It was all blacked out and lowered, triple guage pod, etc. It took him a sec to get going, probably a big turbo.

Dude must have been a high roller. I'm guessing it would take at least 400whp to pull on you like he did. I wonder if he has this kit from APR?

I almost followed him off the exit to see what he had done, maybe I should have. That thing hauled ***. I'm not sure of the weight on those cars, so I can't guess on the power, but I would say he put at least 100hp more to the ground than I do.

Tell me about it. I ran into a really fast yellow S4 sedan last summer. It was yellow and it sounded like a jet fighter when the turbo(s) spooled. I've loved Audi's going back to the 1st footage I ever saw of Group B rally races where their 500whp Quattro Sport dominated WRC. They just cost too damn much to own!

EDIT: Just found some cool videos on youtube.

This is exactly what it was, just lower and blacked out with black rims.

I love me Audi. I've seen some pretty quick s4's online, sadly, none here. I test drove one pushing 12 lbs, and from a dig it was pretty ******* sweet, but it didn't have the top end of our cars (this was a 2.7L iirc). But that wagon is ******* sexy. There is a green one around my parts with a nice intercooler on the front, and I've seen him blow off the front tires like they were nothing. I don't think it is the same type of Audi you raced OP, but it a sic wagon none the less.

I have a friend with a 2000 Audi S4 with the upgraded k04 turbos! Correct me if Im wrong? I think they are called k04??? But that thing is a MONSTER!!!! and I almost bought a 2005 S4 sedan before I desided that I wanted the CTS-V in stead!!! I may still purchase a 2000- 2003 S4 TT just as a track car because those things are CRAZY fast....

Yes, they are called K04s, I believe they're just the ones taken off the B5 RS4 in Europe. The RS4 wasn't offered over here until they started mass producing those 4.2 DOHC V8s...

I like Audis as DDs, but I'm not a big fan of AWD.

Plus, Audi has a longitudinal AWD setup with V8s and V10s now so it tends to have ALOT of weight up front.
