Default Broke my first driveshaft today !

I was cruising and the road ahead had tons of potholes and while I was swerving to avoid them my rearend was bouncing like crazy then hit one big hole next thing I knew I heard a loud grinding sound. I'm not sure what caused it to break but it could have been my pinion angle, torque arm bushings weren't tight or maybe I didn't install the ds correctly. One thing I know is the lakewood safety loop saved my *** and I need another driveshaft immediately !

is this the one you have?

I think I'm going to get one just in case, especially since I think my ds is unbalanced and I'll probably be replacing it soon.

yea but that loop only helps if you break near the tailshaft. If you break near the rear your screwed.

If you break near the rear, all you have to do is clutch it or go to neutral and the carnage and hazard should be minimized.

Update: Today I just got another driveshaft from a member on here and I also purchase some kyb shocks. I got the car in the air to see the extent of the damage cause by the pothole and looked what I found. I've determined that I had a busted shock that cause not only the driveshaft to break but my torque arm...ain't that a biotch ! Now I gotta buy another one after I just got it 3 months ago...o'well.
