Default 18x10.5 56mm wheel on front of my SS

While I was searching, The information I found was somewhat unclear about what wheel diameter/widths/offset fit on the front when youre trying to run a large tire without the front wheel bulging out of the wheelwell. I recently completed the swap on my SS with 18x10.5 wheels with a 56mm off set and a 305/35/18 Nitto 555RII. The rims fit as good as could be asked for. No bulging whatsoever, and a perfect fitment in the front filling the wheelwells out just right. And you could always run a spacer if you prefer an even more aggressive look

Pics in Post # 9

As for fitment, it uses up every bit of available space, but fits! lol. It cleared the spindle and the upper a-arm bolt with no modification, but there was very little space between. So, for peace of mind, I ground the spindle just a bit and took the outwardmost corner of the upper a-arm bolt off. Clears fine now even with the car lowered on BMR springs. Here's a pic:

Cliff notes:18x10.5 with a 56mm offset fits the front perfectly with only very minmal grinding for a 305/35/18 Nitto. A smaller tire would require no grinding and a small spacer would alleviate all problems also.

I been saying to run 10's in the front for years.
