Default MLS Gasket and Graphite Gaskets

I have 806 heads with the notches...I understand you can not use the new MLS gaskets with these heads. My question is, is it worth welding the notches and resurfacing to use the MLS's or just put the graphite ones on and forget about it? Basically like a ratio welding and MLS vs not welding and graphite.
Thanks in advance

Use the graphite. It will be alot cheaper than to weld and resurface. The graphite isn't a bad gasket its just harder to clean off.
