Default my car wont start

i have a 97 camaro with the stock alarm,everytime i stick the key in the security light blinks and it just wont crank,anyone knows how to fix this?

the wire that runs through the column is probably fucked.
happends all the time.

you mean the wire that runs to the back where the motion sensor its at?

theres more to it than that. you have to know what resistor you have in your key.
or you could go to the parts store and by the correct part and not screw up your harness.
but this job in very time consuming.
not break the clock spring in the column pulling the steering wheel off

From what i new it was normal for your car's security light to come on why turning the ignition key on was normal. check the codes see if it'll say anything

like i stated earlier, buy the correct part and it becomes a plug in only fix.
but yes check the codes first
