Default Buying exhaust setup tomorow!!

Hey guys. Ready to purchase full exhaust for my '99 SS.

First let me say this car is not my daily driver. That being said, I don't mind if it is obnoxiously loud

I am purchasing the Pacesetter LT coated headers and TSP high flow catted y-pipe. I am debating whether to purchase one of the three cat-back systems to compliment this..

1.SLP loudmouth 1 - $430
2.SLP loudmouth 2 - $430
3. Texas Speed Rumbler 3" cat-back - $240

The rumbler cat back comes with dynomax bullet mufflers. It will be $365 after the tips.

Let me know what you guys think. Anyones opinion is welcome. Thanks alot.

I have the lm1 on my car and its not my d/d. Yes its load but I like it. I bought mine brand new on a freak deal for $250 (i got really lucky)
If I was buying new it would be hard for me to pay that much for this setup. I now have headers on the car and will not have time to put it back together till the weekend I am thinking it might be too load with the headers and ory but we'll see. It was VERY easy to install the LM1 btw

Was on the same boat as you since gmmgs CBs are on backorder and they dont know when they will have them. I ordered the rumbler cause its cheap and I hear its deeper and less raspy than the loudmouth I got it for $290 shipped without tips the tips that are offered really dont look good. The only downer is that its not stainless steel like the loudmouth. Honestly the best exhaust Ive heard in person was a ls1 with Pacesetter Lt's Tsp ORY and tsp true duals with dynomax bullets dumped. The TD's cost about the same as the LM.

IMO I had headers with an ORY and the loudmouth and it was horrible. WOT was fine but about 2k rpms I hated the sound. It was terrible. Sounded like an old beat up truck with glass packs. I yanked that and had true duals with some magnaflow mufflers and it is night and day. I also did the magnamouth with headers and it was terrible also.

TSP True duals, imo, would be your best bet. Later you can get a panhard relocation kit and run them out the back. Plus, it'll have the best flow possible, other than a more expensive custom true dual system, which on a stock car wont make much of a difference. If I were to do that again, thats personally the route I would take, other than building my own

The LM1 gets real nasty unless your wide open all the time. I loved mine until i done the converter then that kinda ruined it for me!

Well I will be running cats, so the loudmouth shouldnt be raspy, right?

Like I said, I do not mind the loud factor one bit.

I want stainless, so I am either going with the loudmouth or loudmouth 2. Which one should I get?

I would go with the LM2 the LM1 is going to be raspy in the upper rpm's.I saw one on a road course with headers and cats.Believe me Ihave the LM1 but when I do the headers I am going to try the Borlamouth.IMO the LM1 sounded bad on the road course going through gears.I do not know what it sounded like in the car but from a distance I was upset how bad it was.

ORY=LM2
TSP catted y=LM1
The LM1 with a ORY it is kinda tough to have a conversation in the car at any throttle But sounds intimidating as hell though. It is stupid loud. It has gotten me in quite a bit of trouble because cops here it from a ways off. True statement you know.

Well, no more debate. I just purchased the header & y-pipe combo as well as the LM2. Hope to get it on the car soon, and will take videos accordingly.
