Hanging idle ? any cure for it?

Hanging idle ? any cure for it? Whenever i am coming to a stop and put the clutch in, the revs shoot up to about 1500-2000 and hang there for a few secs then finally will drop back down to normal idle. anybody have any suggestions on how to cure this??

Re: Hanging idle ? any cure for it? I thought it is suppose to do that so you have good vaccum for the brake booster when comming to a stop. I know if mine didnt do it I would have barely any brakes.

Re: Hanging idle ? any cure for it? Ive got a stock TB that i can put back on that hasnt been drilled yet. i'll try that and cleaing the IAC and see what happens.
