Default Solid Motor Mounts with aftermarket K-member...

What are you guys using?? From what I have been told noone makes any solid mounts for use with an aftermarket kmember.. Why is this?? I really don't want to make any, but if thats what I have to do then so be it. I just don't understand why they would make solid mounts for the stock kmember, but nothing for the aftermarkets.. Hopefully someone makes something and I just haven't found it yet..

Thanks for the input!

I have spohn solid mounts on my profab k-member. If the stock mounts will bolt to it then the spohn ones should too.

I have a BMR Kmember.. Is has the stands welded to it. The only thing you can use is the factory motor mounts or modify them and make them solid.

Look at the pic.. I am running the BMR kmember in the pic I posted above. You can not use the spohn solid mounts with the BMR kmember.

If you are going to solid mounts, run motor plates and be done.

Well Steve that was the plan.. But as we all know THINGS NEVER GO AS PLANNED!!! I am running a carbed LSX setup and neither of my motor plates will fit around my new GMPP timing cover worth a damn, so I was going to go with the solid mounts instead. My water pump bolts are about a mile long now also so I didn't really trust them to hold the engine up.

i made my own. it was really easy and didnt take long at all. actually it took longer to put poly mounts in the stock clamshells than it did to make my own mounts from scratch.

I have two motor plates here one of them being a MadMan plate, but it won't clear. I could have done some trimming on them, but it would be awfully close to the water pump ports.. I already painted my engine bay and got it lookin pretty so can't go back with plates now..

BMR K-MEMBER IS TOTALLY DIFFERENT THAN SPOHN, PA Racing, ETC ETC.. Look at the pic that I posted of the BMR Kmember.. The SPOHN solid mounts WILL NOT WORK!!!!!!! I have a set of the spohn solid mounts on the shelf and they work on their kmember or any kmember that has stock style engine mounts NOT the BMR. Jesus.
