Question 1997 Camaro Lt1-Help ME!!!

Hey everyone. My boyfriends birthday is coming up and I don't know what to buy him. He drives a 1997 Camaro Lt1 and he told me he still needed an adjustable panhard bar (chrome molly), a full cage, and shocks and lowering springs. If someone could help me out as to what websites I could find these things and what kind I should buy I would really appreciate it. Money is not an issue, tell me the best kind of stuff, please. I want to make him happy!!!! And I want his car to go fast and look hot riding in it haha THANKS!!!

Holy crap he isn't going easy on you is he. Try Ebay or the classifieds here on this site. What a lucky guy my wife doesn't buy me parts. Check those links Elliott's94z posted.

All I have to say is, if you recited that back by heart, then showing him that post should be gift enough! Being able to remember and accurately say panhard bar, not to mention chome molly, is enough to melt hearts

Elliot and SoxX hit the nail on the head though. I can't remember the solid pair to run Strano Springs and... Koni Shocks I think... I don't have the part number on them though.

There's a lot of variables that come into play with what he plans on using the car for and what particular products would best suite him and the application. Is it Mainly a drag car or a weekend warrior with you in the passenger seat getting your neck snapped back??

He races his car on the weekends when it's nice outside. His panhard bar is broken right now so he needs it for the car to work so I know he really wants it. I actually haven't even been for a ride with him yet. He needs to put his passenger seat back in. haha Thanks for all the help.

Then you do understand he'll probably see this thread right and the gift is no longer a surprise >_>

Maybe the mods should quickly delete this and can PM her the info (and names of the helpers, me not quite being one mind you haha) and thus render it a surprise again

Panhard bar: http://www.umiperformance.com/2029?category_id=124
Lowering Springs: http://www.umiperformance.com/sp141?category_id=160 (I'm running the Eibach Pro-Kit which is another good choice as well)
Shocks: You could go with some KYB AGX adjustable Or some Bilsteins through Sam Strano one of the links I first gave ya.
I would also consider a set of lower control arms as well if he lowers it. http://www.umiperformance.com/produc...ategory_id=119

He already has control arms but good thought. i imagine it won't be a surprise cuz he already knows I'm gunna buy him something for his car. But the one thing he really wanted that he doesnt have money for is a Big block. He has a small block right now. How much is a big block? Like 500 right? Or is it more. I was planning on spending up to 800 on him
