Default Blow off valve not working

Blow off valve not working, I have a 99 Z28. When I brought the blow off it said adjustable, not sure how it's adjustable, It has a nut on the top only hand tight. Reference line is hooked to the intake manafold line going into the fuel line. Boost gauge also hooked from there, it shows a vacume (-20). Any help???

So you've tried it and it's not working? Are you connected to the top or bottom port? You have to connect to the bottom port to get it to open on the spring. You can buy a simple adjustable valve to bleed pressure to the top to make your boost controllable or get a good electronic one. If you are connected to the bottom port and it's not opening, take it apart. It's a very simple piece. You have a diaphragm connected to a valve with a spring on top. The nut and screw on top won't provide you with much adjustment, but will increase the boost up maybe a couple pounds from all the way out to all the way in.
