Default 6.0L heads/cam SD tune surging when cold.

i've got a problem with my 6.0L surging when it's cold. it's a SD tune. The tuner has tried multiple times to fix it with no luck. this motor is a 6.0L iron block stock internals, ls3 heads/intake, and a 224/228 cam 591/600 lift.
another problem with the surge is when i turn on the a/c which is after market hot rod air setup. this is in an early first gen camaro. doesnt' matter if the engine is warm or not....when the a/c comes on it surges like it did when the motor was cold. sometimes killing the motor. very embarrasing...it seems to take a few seconds to find the idle....that is if the motor doesn't die. it's driving me crazy. badass car, badass motor, SD tune, stupid thing won't idle right cold or when the a/c turns on. what the heck is going on? is this just a situation of a tuner that doesn't know what he's doing? oh, it's a stock 2000 camaro computer with hp tuner software. please help

If I were you, I would get another tuner to look at it... Don't know who to recommend in your area, but what you describe should be fixable one way or another...

Rather basic- idle airflow.

Dito on the other tuner. Do u have any scans of the car wen it does this? That would help us out alot. Without seeing ur tune or a scan it could be a couple of things, idle rpm, PID, commanded AFR, VE, idle air flow, etc.

If you have a scan or bin file in HPT shoot it to me at souless69@gmail.com and I can take a quick look. Might be something simple

Could also be idle timing.
Either way the tuner needs replacing.
