Default how bad is the stock valve spring compared.......

the stock valve spring compared to an after market one, how much will it help or how much will the stocker hurt?, I put aftermarket valve springs in my car and the valve train seems a little louder than before but thats not my concern, I've heard alot about people breaking the aftermarket springs but havent heard of a stocker breaking, I CANNOT afford to have a broken valve spring!, I'm thinkin the double spring would be the best insurance huh?, I cant remember what brand springs I bought, I remember they had "made in Germany" tags on them, and they were blue, I know germany is one of the only places left that has the good old fasioned style steel mills that produce the strongest steel so I may be in luck there, anybody care to chime in?

Stock springs are only 76 lbs seat pressure and 220 lbs on the nose of a stock cam at .500 lift. The only 'made in germany' blue springs I know of are 01 LS6 springs. Their specs are 90 lbs seat pressure and 260 lbs at .525 lift.
