Re: SS hood grill I sent an email to Afterthoughts about it when Kevin V told me that's where he got his. The replied back and said that they no longer carry that piece but they were looking into getting it again.

Re: SS hood grill The one from afterthoughts was never actual chrome, it was vacum metalized, basically a chrome spray, kinda like the bodies and wheels you see on toy cars that are plastic. Alot of complaints on those peices lead to discontinuation, and ironicly enough they might come back. I was working on real triple plate chrome ones, the company i am dealing with takes forever and is a PITA. So who knows if it will ever come to see the light of day.

Re: SS hood grill I remember a while back, some guy on here was going to make them with SS or the Chevy bow tie symbol in the middle and he had a bunch of people interested including me, but I don't think we ever heard back from the guy.
