Fuel Pump Limits?
I currently have a 6 years old intank Walbro 255 in my 98 Formula. The car makes 580/530 RWHP on motor. I don't have a fuel pressure gauge. It was recently mentioned to me that I may be pushing the limits of this pump. The pump is not hot wired or using the racetronics harness.
Any thoughts? What is everyone else running on their big cubed NA setups?

I usually say 550rwhp is a safe limit for an intank Walbro. Some do better & obviously you have. I'm surprised you got that far without a hot wire kit.
I strongly recommend a hot wire kit at minimum to get more voltage at the pump. This can increase output of the pump by around 10%.
If you are planning any additional power upgrades, I have a dual intank pump setup for your vehicle

is it advisable to hotwire and old pump? Or should I do a new pump at the same time.
No more motor upgrades with this setup. I plan on running on motor with this combo.

I did a do-it-yourself dual Walbro setup. There's an excellent writeup stickied in the fueling & injection forum. If that's not your thing, then I'd definitely hit up Lonnie.
