Default w body exh manifold turbo kit pics

Just thought Id post some pics of my homemade kit using w-body (GP GXP, Monte Carlo SS, Buick Super, etc.) manifolds. Project has been at a standstill for a little while but Id seen the thread on Modular doing some kits and someone mentioned these manifolds.

This is going in a 71 Nova.

I love the looks of those over the truck type manifolds. Will they bolt up to the ls1/6 heads?

For his application. I'm not so sure that would work on an f body like that. Looks like thats going into a nova.

Looks good though, they definitely do look better than truck manifolds

Which accessory drive are you planning on running? Looks killer....i may have to pick up a pair of those manifolds for my turbo l92 chevelle build! I was going to run the truck accessory drive (alt and P/S). Looks like it would clear the truck drive setup no prob

Just the F-body alternator bracket, no p/s or a/c. Make sure to use a BIG turbo to take advantage of those L92's!

The car is a 71 Nova, minitubbed, 325/50R15's on the back, 3" drop leaf springs, 4L80E,12 bolts with 3.42's. All stock steel body with a flat hood, bench seat, and rally wheels. Going to be kind of a street sleeper. Looking to make around 600rwhp and runs somewehere in the 10's on drag radials.
Exhaust will be single 3 1/2" hidden tailpipe out the right side behind the wheel.
The hot side pipes are mild steel and formed from various bends from jegs.

How much did it cost you to have all that piping fabbed up if you don't mind me asking?

Due to the location of the turbo it looks like it would fit on a GTO with the battery removed and some slight modification to the piping, currently i think the accessories belts and pulleys would get in the way, but the manifolds look like they could be of use fo sho.

That sounds killer.

So you just got a bunch of mandrel bends from jegs and had them cut and welded to your specs? Sounds gangsta.

Sounds like my kind of build,I'm always looking for factory manifolds that can be used for off the wall turbo setups.I will have to ckeck out a set of those. What is the right side manifold like on the w body, any chance it could be turned around for a up and forward twin setup? Love the sleeper cars, they are my favorites.Post more pictures when you get a little further along.
