Default Springs for .615 lift???

Can anyone recommend a good valve spring for a .615 lift cam spinning over 7k? Thunder recommends the 918's. This would be nice and simple, but I'm leary of these as alot of other people are. I would like to just go with the 977's, but I am told I will not be able to get the correct install height that I need. I show that 978's will get coil bind at any install height I can get. The heads currently haven't had the seats machined for the bigger springs but I can get it done if there is a wider dia. spring that I want to go with. So lets hear some recommendations.

What about the CC 987s? Would they work? You could call MTI and ask what Isky setup they'd recommend. I run the Springs are Isky 6205s. 150 closed pressure / 350 open pressure.

For anything over .600 I'd be leary of the 918. I'm using them with no problems right at that lift. If I was running a .615 lift cam I'd have the new stock diameter crane duals that are good to .650 lift.

The Isky 6205s I know support up to .612 at least b/c I can run MTIs S1 cam with them no problem. I have yet to hear of the Isky 6205s breaking, ever.

Well I went ahead and order the EX-615-16 springs from Cmotorsports.com. I'll post results for sure. This is a single coil with dampner.

Well the anle I am looking at this is that these springs are probably VERY similar to the other major brands oout there like comp cams, ferrea, crane, lunati, isky. All of these places just buy their springs from a larger factory. At least this is what I am told by a friend who is a distributor of these parts.
