Default headlight cover cleaner

Does anyone sell a cleaner or a polish that actually clears the oxidation off the front headlights. I bought some cheap headlight polish it did not do anything.

Wetsand with fine grit paper, use any medium cutting polish, then either use a clear sealant (not clearcoat.) or a good wax. Or just buy one of the billion kits out there.
