LQ9 was missing alternator threaded hole?

LQ9 was missing alternator threaded hole? I threaded a new hole but the alternator sits out further than the engine and i keep throwning belts???
look at the pic look at the wheel on the alternator bracket, its sticking out way too far

Looks to me like the idler is hosed. Is the bolt bent? If not, when you take the idler pulley off and put the bolt back in, does the bolt look like it's coming straight out of the block?
