LQ9 was missing alternator threaded hole?

Default LQ9 was missing alternator threaded hole?

I threaded a new hole but the alternator sits out further than the engine and i keep throwning belts???
look at the pic look at the wheel on the alternator bracket, its sticking out way too far

Is the hole you threaded straight? I ran mine with only the 2 bolts and it's fine. theres no way it should be out that far

alt wheel is bent, who knows. take a pic with the belt off so we can see

wheel looks bent, never had problem before. got a part number or part name for this wheel

Looks to me like the idler is hosed. Is the bolt bent? If not, when you take the idler pulley off and put the bolt back in, does the bolt look like it's coming straight out of the block?

Ouch! what the hell did you do? You need a new wheel either way, but is the pulley loose or is it bent?

Tapped and threadded mine, never had a problem with the accessory belts...now the procharger belt...that is a different story.
