Default Year one rims

I'm really curious how the year one Snowflake rims would look on my Formula. Does anyone have a pic of a black TA or firebird with them on it.

http://www.yearone.com/serverfiles/f...ain2.asp?cat=G

I like my stock rims, which I stripped and polished, but I want to change the appearance of the car for the first time in 12 years. Suggestions?

Photoshop of the above pics or of the year one rims? I think the snowflakes look nice but I'm just not sold on the overall appearance of the rims because I haven't seen them on any other 4th gens to compare.

They're a little too busy for my tastes. Could look interesting though I guess..

I honestly came in here hoping for pics of these birds:

Snowflake rims would look weird. Is your car lowered? Looks good.

But i do like these rims. They are American Racing 200S alloy wheels with "Magnetallic Grey" spokes on some GMMG cars.

i've got QA1's up front and I still need to drop the rear. The Moser 9" kicked it up a bit.

They look good but remind me too much of torque thrusts. I like the look but it seems like they're all to common. That was my reason for liking the snowflakes. I haven't seen them on a car other than year one's website, which I'm not about to make a purchase not knowing how they're going to look. thanks for the imput guys

I just wish the new cast Snowflake repros they sell came in 4th gen offsets.

OEM 15x8 next to a repro 17x9.

There was also a picture of a teal colored firebird I saw yesterday here. I will try to find it.

I think they would look nice with the spokes painted black and the lip, center cap, and lugs left unpainted.

I was always a big fan of those wheels. Those are what I would get if had a TA.

They would be perfect (IMO) if they had a deep dish and the spokes were painted black.

Imagine this but with the snowflake design inside:

I've been thinking about these ever since YO came out with the Snowflakes for 2nd gen cars. I finally got off the pot and ordered a set last weekend. I'll get some pics on my NBM 'vert when they come in. I was really wanting gold Snowflakes since I have a tan top and interior, but they only come in gunmetal for 4th gens. Depending on how they look, I may have them powder coated gold later.

Here is a post of mine from another thread on here

Year One offers custom Billet wheels as well as these cast ones. But the billet ones are pretty expensive. Kevin said these cast ones were designed to be stock replacements.
