Single Digit Club - my 6 spd made it! first time out!

i am suprised i made it with only one pass but im in the single digit club! woot!
a lot left on the table..i didnt leave on the 2 step, the nitros hit 5 ft out, ran out of gear at 142 and had to let off, and the nitrous turned out at 134. i dont have the efi data log but here is the video my buddy took.

What rear end gearing are you running?

big congrats !

4.10 gear in the dana, 28" et drag, launch at 6500 on the 2 step 9$not on the nitrous pass though i left soft no two step, t56 trans with upgraded small parts-stock gears and input/ output shafts, and its a 200 shot with the nitrous daves plate. hope i got them all :D

on that pass i opened the cutout. cutout made 0 difference on the motor passes but im sure the nitrous liked it. my cutout is all the way in the back though after my y pipe.

by the pics it appears that you have to low of tire pressure or old tires...might want to think about a stiff sidewall

pressue was lower then i like...13lbs. and yes the tires are a couple years old also. i dont get out much :D

they were 5 at all 4 corners, qa1 12 ways. next time im going to 6 or 7 in the front and 6 in the rear and see how it reacts.

its the spohn 1" solid sway bar. its not adjustable but its been working very good so far so no need to change it. it does kick a hair more to the right though-maybe one more click on that shock.

no cage for me until it becomes a race car if it ever does. i dont go to the track enough to justify it. i drive on the street so much if i ever got in an accident it could cause more body damage to me. just an odds thing imo.

again guys thanx for all the compliments! i spend a lot of time on this car its my hobby/ borderline obssesion. everything has been put on this car in either my garage or my buddys (his garage is waaay niver and has a lift. plus hes pretty knowledgable in case i get stumbled:D) at some point i will likely turn it into a race car and get crazy with it but its just my street toy for now.

and the clutch is a mcleod rxt. twin unsprung ceramic puck disc's. 26lb 2 peice steel flywheel (yea its heavy but my cars heavier :bang:) between that clutch, 3" steel nitrous ready ds, and dana 60 rear its amazing this thing makes any power on a dyno.

beautiful car and obviously fantastic results at the track.

getting it dialed in will make it even that much quicker/faster. car is gorgeous, it's rare to see such a nice ride being beat on...keep it up!

its not bad. i expected worse. i ge more movement from the tires on the top end then between gear changes.

i went out saturday but it was too hot. track wasnt working in my favor. best 60 ft was a 1.50. here is the video. still went 141 in the nasty florida heat.

and the next pass it lost it around the 1000' marker and almost went into the wall. i was able to save it by about a foot. that video got cut short as my uncle shit himself. i should have known after the botched burnout and being out of the groove lining up the run was trash.

qa1 12 r series in front, 12 ways in back, 300 lb springs in front, stock in back, spohn 1" sway bar, bmr adj t/a w/ relocation bracket, bmr adj lca's, and slp diamond subframes.
