DAMN Moser to HELL!!!!!
I twisted the untwistable 30 spline in my moser, they charged me for a new one! I got it in at about 12:30 tuesday night, Then Went to the track wednesday and
Did the burn out, rev it up green light, dump clutch, Got home pulled the cover and most of the rear fell out with the oil!!
So looks like the 30 splines are coming out, 33 going in along with a spool!(Strange that is, Gun drilled, No more screwin around!)
I should be up and running in a couple days.
Another $$$$ day at the track.
I also cracked the yoke right in half and smashed the u joint!
It held for about two years, But that was with chicken tires and 1.7 60', Now with traction it only took 6 passes in the 1.55-1.68 60'
OH well, part of racing.

The tire wear isnt that bad, Ny buddys car Has had his et streets on all year, he has prob 50 passes on them, and 3-5k miles on the street. They are still good.
Im not worried about $300 a year on tires, but $1000 a year bon a rebuild sux!!!

Re: DAMN Moser to HELL!!!!!
Well, it will be a little longer then I thought.
I had to order the parts, and the Billit yoke has to be made. They said 3 weeks. But when you want it bad it dont matter. I think i worked around the 3 week thing$$$$$$$$$$ :p
I'll let you know about the spool. But ive heard all good things so far from everyone running them! Cant wait.

Re: DAMN Moser to HELL!!!!!
that sucks about the parts! i know you wanted to run the shootout. on a brighter note, i picked up the 9 inch last night and it looks like rain tonight so the f-body wars at mir will get moved and i can possibly make it!

Re: DAMN Moser to HELL!!!!!
It does suck about the parts, But i will be doing the shootout!!!At least I'll do my best to get it done. Like I said, A little extra $$$$ you can get things done faster :p
Good luck with the 9", It might slow you down a bit (Ford Product ) did you stick with the same gears? What gears are you running? And what do you cross the traps at RPM wise? Im @ around 6,000 going threw the traps and I shift @ 6,200. 3:73's seem like the best I can get till I go faster, then its to 3:55.

Re: DAMN Moser to HELL!!!!!
i had 4.10's in the 12 bolt, and in the 9 inch i got 3.89's. with the 4.10's i was crossing around 6500, but since i want to step up on the shot later, i wanted the 3.89's and a 28 inch tire.

Re: DAMN Moser to HELL!!!!!
Cool, I think I'll just stick with my 3.73's, Im hoping to be in the 130mph mark by next spring, So I dont want to over rev. 3.73's seem to work out well for me anyway.

Re: DAMN Moser to HELL!!!!!
Evil, I saw in another post, you need LCA's,Give EastSide a call. They have a ballz set up. I run them in my car, they are soooo sweet. They also have the same pan hard rod. They are great, Nice and light. I hade them weld in the lca relocations and then they squared the car. What a good job they did. I had BMR in their, and these are much much nice. I know they are 6 hours from you, But It might be worth a call, and have them installed somewhere ealse.
Just a little info. Good luck.>>>>>>>>>>
