Default guage cluster question

will a cluster from a 99-02 trans am work on a 98 or do i have to get one for a 98?

i know it will bolt up but will every thing work properly?

it should, im not aware of any changes between 98 and 99

as far as ive heard, it will not work. will bolt up fine

It WILL NOT work. 1998 is seperate from all the rest.

You should notice it when you start the car, it shouldn't be able to idle and it should have trouble staying running.

Same thing when you take it out and start the engine without a cluster in....my engien would hardly stay running.
