Default single chamber mufflers

I stumbled into a thread a while ago where some guys were talking about generic brand single chamber mufflers. The guys that had them said they were pretty good, pretty comparable to flowmaster 10's.

Is this true and who sells a decent one?

Or is it worth the extra cash for the Flows?

a friend of mine that owns an exhaust shop put a set on a trans am a few days ago and I have real one chambers on my SS. I could not tell the difference. And they were around 30 bucks a piece vs. 90 for one chambers. you can't beat the sound....expecially with a cam.

I was going to order the ones off of ebay, but then I noticed my friend has two single chamber flowmasters in his shop. I asked him if he'd sell me one and he asked me how much they usually sell for. I told him I was going to buy one for $20 he said he'll just let me have it lol.
