Default What size stall?

I was wondering what stall I should get. I will be putting in a TR227/227 568 on 110 cam, Hooker long tubes, And ls6 intake and tuning of course. Also this with 3.23's On a 99 ss

Depends on your goals. More street, more strip? Drag radials, ET Streets, Slicks?

Based on your mods, you probably need at least 4000 rpm stall. Based on your suspension, tires and goals, I can make a better recommendation on converter.

Umm I want more street than strip. Tires Drag radials, suspension Adjustable pan, Eibach drop springs, strut tower brace. And 4000 that's not to High?

i wouldnt go more than 4000 for a mostly street car...if its me id go with a tighter 3800 stall vert.

I agree with Patrick, you should consider something around the 4000 stall range. I like the TCI 3800 converter, part number 242934.
It has very good torque multiplication (over 2.5) and good efficiency as well.

Kevin's got a solid recommendation. If you don't get a TCI, consider a Yank SS 4000 or a Vig 3600.

I like the 3800 with drag radials. Hooking a 4000+ on drag radials takes either excellent track prep or a light car.

Yank 4000 isn't to high. I run a 4400 w/4:10s on the street and it's ok, little noisey at low speeds but it's worth it for when I put my foot in it. You can starsky and hutch it at will, but you can drive it like a granny if you want. Noisey granny, but it really isn't tooo bad. from about a 20mph roll it is freakish but you can almost keep it hooked.

Another vote for the TCI 3800, you will get max. I think it will compliment your cam well for street use.
