Best cam/torque converter combo for 4500lb whale Im finishing up an 01 LS1 drivetrain install into my 96 Impala and it is time to start thinking of a cam/torque converter swap. This will be the only mod i do so i want to get the most out of the set up i go with. Here is some info on the car:
1996 Impala SS (4,800+ lbs curb weight)
Cold air intake
Stock LS1 drivetrain from TB to automatic tranny
Street & Performance headers with cats deleted and high flow muflers
3.73 gears
Intown driveability is not a concern
