Asked a question about larger bore cylinder head on a smaller bore engine. Say you have a head and the combustion chamber has been opened to a 4.125 bore but is still using a 2.055 intake and 1.6 exhaust valve. You want to put heads on a 4.005 bore. Being that there is a .120 area that is exposed with no protection at the top of the bore, is this safe to run?
I know I would have to use a 4.125 bore gasket but before I give these heads away I would like to know if this will work. Thanks
