Default paging colonel and pro stock john or anyone that can help

i need help,i'm getting a whistling noise from my engine when i get on the gas.i't started last week when i drove thru some water about a foot to two feet deep.after i pulled out of the water there was no noise.i let car sit over the weekend,and now i have this noise when i give it gas.anyone had this problem before.any help would be much appreciated.thanx in advance.

Checked the lid and airfilter?

Any recent mods?

I've head the BBK throttle body will whistle.

Does the car run normal?

Where are you located?

A foot of water is pretty high. Two feet well that water would be over your lap.

yes car runs normal.i'm located in houston.i jack it up yesterday and it sounds like the noise is coming from the lower pulley next to the air compressor.
