Default Cam only to h/c combo... opinions wanted??

So I just had the car dynoed with a bolt on/cam only set up ( 227/228 649/589 ) and did 370whp. I was about to order a full wet plate set up and by the time I got done adding it all up, I am only a few hundred away from doing a new head/cam set up. I am looking for opinions from those that have gone from a mild cam set up to a full combo or stayed mild cam with nitrous. I was thinking the PRC 2.5's with a MS3 or doing a HSW plate kit with all the goodies. The car is a 98' camaro with a 6 speed. Has LS6 intake, PP TB, Lid, comp cam w/ patriot gold springs and hardened pushrods, coated LT's, off road y with hooker catback, ls6 clutch with slight built tranny w/ 4:10's, efi live tuned and a few suspension parts... Let me know your thoughts

proven combo for cheap

you'll make good power with the 227 cam though

throw a 9090 and you've got some sturdy numbers ahead.

Yeah, the tune was pretty conservative too. Only running about 24 deg of timing and through the catback with a 12.4ish AFR across the board. There's still a little left to gain... I know I won't go to the 90/90 set up anytime soon, so going to the full h/c combo to gain, at best, 60-70 rwhp is kind of a tough call. The only thing with the bottle is it takes $$$ to refill and I don't know how many runs I will get out of a 10 lbs running 150 shot...

Get some heads, keep the cam, spray 125-150 and take names. Good cam and will kick ***. Changing cam will be minimal difference compared to other additions.

like others have said, keep the cam, and get a set of heads that fit your budget, and get some spray. 5.3 truck heads milled down to 59cc. would give you awsome mid and low end and the added compression will work great on the jug.
