Truck manifolds...painted, coated, bare?? Just curious what everyone is doing with their truck manifolds. I think I'll eventually get mine ceramic coated but for now I was thinking of just cleaning them up and doing some high temp engine paint to hide the rust.

I painted mine with high temp paint and also painted the heat sheilds black. I dont think the paint will hold up well on the manifolds thats why i ran the heat sheilds to hide the paint.

As long as it's prepped properly I've read about people getting a decade out of the VHT paint. It's rated to 2,000 and I doubt (hope) nobody has exhaust temps that high. Of course nothing beats Jet Hot. Also has anybody experimented with the POR high-temp?

Why do you guys choose black? Black is thermally transparent while white is a thermally insulating color. If you want to keep the heat in, you paint it white... or, at least, that's what my research on some physics sites indicated.
