What's up guys and gals? Time is a bit of an issue with this request, so I say "thank you" in advance to anyone who can shed some light. I am very interested in swapping the C5 Z06's ls6 into my 1971 el camino. While searching for engines I came across this item on ebay (item #110357068140). I was looking for the 6 speed as part of the swap as well, but I'm wondering if this is more than I need, and whether you all think I should just look for the engine and trans by themselves. I think it would be awesome if I could transplant the whole z06 chassis into the camino but I have no experience in this and the auction is ending soon. I believe the 71 camino share the same frame as the chevelle of this year, so If anyone has done something similiar I would love to hear your oppinion. peace.
