480ohm most reccomend a 1watt but you wont find one at radio shack. I am running a 1/2 watt and its been perfectly fine. Radio shack carries them in stock for $.99 for 4.

Hey JR whats that fox weigh? also whats you're carb jet size etc. I just put my demon on yesterday from a holley and am curious what people are doing with the pumps and cams on the demons to make the stumble go away.

Yup it drops it to 5 volts. Some people install a light bulb inline as an alternator warning light and that works too somehow.

Cam is working great man got some nice weather here so i can get some tuning done now

I think the bulb trick works by robbing voltage before it gets to the alt. That sound shady. Are the resistors a one way type thang?

I'm hoping to be out tuning in a few weeks also.

I think there was one in the wiring on the car when I got it. I gotta go check the left over wiring. I ran it with 12v going to it. I bet it popped something inside of it.

Nah resistor voltage travels either way. If you have a truck and i think vette alt you have to power the 5v to two pins and with an fbody just the one.

Yeah i want to see some videos of that fox out runing man!

Yeah you if ran 12v directly to the voltage regulator it will charge for a little while but then fry it from what i understand.

I just had it out in my hood long enough for the cops to get called, lol. It rev's like a two stroke dirt bike. It's going to be pretty nasty. I'm going to up load some pics in a few and a vid my wife took. Check back on my build thread in the drag section.

It's a remote mount and you need a $90 pick up tube plus the remote mount kit and 10an fittings it ended up costing me about $450. If i had to do it over again i would DEFINATELY go with the ATS pan (www.t56kit.com) the thing is BEAUTIFUL and not even $100 more.

6qt pan remote filter with -12an lines with 90* fittings included and gasket plus studs. Also powerder coated clear. Just amazing craftsmanship imo.

HAha i have a local road about 500ft from my house (i live out in the middle of nowhere) and theres a few houses down and that's where i "tune". People come out of their houses by the 2nd pass and watch and wave. I dont think anyone would call the police here lol. Yeah i'll have to check it out. Are you running an X pipe? I'm running 3" straight pipes into an X and out the sides and it sounds so ******* wicked with the cam.I keep forgetting to get a video. It sounds like a 5.7L motorcycle. At 7000rpm it sounds like its turning 12,000 rpm haha. The X pipe is truly a unique sound.

Yup they will have some. It's in a pull out tray thing where they keep the diodes and stuff. There's a 1/2 watt tray all to itself from what i remember.

Dam, how much is the ATS pan? My stocker has been cut and it only holds about 4 qts. But my motor is kinda to far forward in the car. so I really need to check the measurements to see what one will fit or have someone custom make me one.

I think its 550 but you still need a remove mount filter. This moroso and ATS pan is about 2 inches shorter in the front but the bottom of my pan is just barely above my K member. Here's the thread about the oil pans i have picture of my moroso and Tyler posted his and some other pans over here.

It's always nice to have the extra capacity and the extra baffles for hard launches and cornering. My system holes 8 quarts of 5w30 mobile one and i run a K&N filter.

Haha they sound so awesome with 3" x pipes i think. I have my car tagged in MD as a street rod (no inspection ever unlimited modification and driving) which is pretty hard to get and i dont have to have mufflers, or a roof or door or wheel wells or anything its pretty sweet. I chose to keep most of that stuff though just not the mufflers. It turns heads idling at stop lights and driving. It's just obnoxiously loud outside but not bad inside.
