For all you out there waiting like me, it has finally started. $57K 7K miles Cant really tell the options but it looks like a stock auto which is about $64K MSRP car after gas tax about 11% hit in 5 months. I'm likin it. The same dealer has two of them kinda weird since there is like a total of 6 used V2 on autotrader. No offense to those that bought it new.

$58k is the starting asking price. I wanna know what it goes out the door for.

When they dip into the mid to low $40k's....I'm sporting a new(used) ride.

The lack of stick shifts around the US is pissing me off too; its crazy only a handful everwhere. Its gonna make it really hard to get a used one later on, prob make them worth more too.

No racero's in it :( why would some one skip on a $2k option when their already paying $65k+???

I wonder if it was a demo vehicle, or maybe a repo already

All the recaro & manual option are the longest waiting orders. Roughly around 8 weeks from the date of order. Also in general production the ratio manual to auto is 85%auto to 15% stick !!!. I ordered my v2 w/ recaro & stick on 11/20/08 and I should be getting it next week !!!! Thats how long it takes. BUT like someone mentioned the sticks will hold alot better resale value than the automatics. Reminds me alot of how the manual mkiv supra's are generally worth 10-15k more than the automatics. More people may drive the auto's but manual drivers are usually more automotive "enthusiasts" that will $$$ more for the stick.

That sucks to hear. Definitely going to make my search for a used manual with Recaros a lot harder.

Very true Razo about the Supra's. I cant believe your V2 has been on order for over 3 months!!!! But I am sure it will be well worth the wait to have the manual

Probably because it's a $3400 option and maybe they're tapped out at $65k!

To me, that's ALOT of money for some suede and some fancy seats, but that's just my opinion!

Dealers are afraid a stick shift Caddy is going to sit for months. That is probably why so few Vs ended up being made in the first generation. The dealer near me has two '09 both automatics and they have not had a bite on either one in two months.

Anyone know about the carbon rotors option? I do not see that anywhere in literature or in sales specs.

There is none - They supposedly had a Track Pack, but I have yet to see a V with it.

i doubt this car was a dealer demo or a repo... with the amount of miles on it (being right around where gm switches out there company cars for new ones for there executives) id have to say it was a gm program car that this dealer happened to land by no other gm employee having "tagged" it for purchasing....

just seena guy in town drivin a brand new black ls3 6 spd man. camaro ss (if i dint have soo many cars now id tag it!)... stopped and talked to him and sure enough he works down at headquarters in detroit... he had an xlr last year...
