Default Another 1000 rwhp TT GT35R C6Z

Hi Guys,

Here is another build we did for a customer using the same package that we went 210mph with in the texas mile last october

basic setup consists of:

LSx Block
APS C6Z kit
Callies Rotating assembly
Diamond custom pistons
Stock LS7 heads
Upgraded valves and valvetrain
Tilton triple carbon clutch
G7xT turbo cam
2000 hp fuel system (injectors, pumps, wiring harness, rails)
Meth kit
These pulls consist of 5 gallons of PUMP and 5 gallons of 100 octane

Boost level is 17ish on the 1080 pull, and 14ish on the 1010 pull, still a lot to go, but the dyno isnt holding it anymore.

We had one major hold up with this car that took an extra 4 weeks, but completion of this car from start to finish, including the unforseen wait was tick over 12 weeks. With out the wait, we can have these cars in and out in 8 weeks now

thats a sick torque curve from 3500 to 5500 rpms. why you shut it down so early? Not that the extra rpms are needed lol.... just curious

working up to the tune, start at 1500-2500, then 1500-3k, then 1500-4k, work up on the cal, never do a full pull till the end, 5500 is as far as I got. Its back on the rack being buttoned up Pulls at 1000rw go FAST! I takes 4-6 guys to do a pull- 2 in the trunk, 2 watching inlet ducts/engine bits and 1 logger, and one dyno operator

The pulls do go quick! I don't understand the reason for the guys in the trunk if the car is strapped down well enough?? I have watched this TT 1200rwhp C6 dyno with no people in the trunk and hold just fine. I guess it's all in how it's strapped down??

Also depends on how much tread is left on the dyno rollers themselves.

Yep. Mine are pretty worn out. Bought it new in 1995 Its had a few pulls in its day

I think if it didnt hit as hard as it does, it wouldnt set it into a spin. It hits HARD.

CR is in the 9s, stock LS7 intake and heads. No lifting when its done right at this power level. Turbos used are Twin GT35Rs.

I would ask after seeing the title...
What is the cubic inch of the engine? Still 427 just in the LSX block?

I have a 76 GTS, and Its too big. GT42 is too big as well. I have a couple irons in the fire regarding something larger than that, but Im not sure where Ill end up.

amazing work again Louis and the LG team! i seriously think you guys should gfit this engine intio one of your race cars and go. then take it to the 'Ring in germany and show us all how to build really fast cars! im thinking sub 7 min should be do-able! hehe

is there any reason for using the LSx over the warhaek or even stock LS7 block??

Chris.
