Default head bolts

are new gm oem head bolts fine for a cam only car or do i need to upgrade to arp bolts? i plan on going with heads and intake also in the future would they still be fine? also what head gaskets do you reccomend gm mls or gm graphite ones?

Main reason I tell you this is because of my past experiences with stock bolts and my old block from my first build. USE ARP STUDS.
With your current mods, stock head bolts are okay(make sure they are new) never reuse the old ones. As you progress in your upgrades keep the studs in mind....much easier to remove and reinstall the heads for any reason you might need to.... depending on mods Nitrous, Turbo, Procharger, they are added strength and better clamping force for you.
Stock MLS gaskets is fine for what you are doing.....I have them on my 383 and have had no issues.

Yes ARP makes head bolts for the LS1, I'm running them
