Clutch Recommendations?
My 02 z28 is gonna need a new cluch soon.
So, i need some help/advice from some of you guys experienced in this department.
1. I need a clutch that will allow me to drive the car daily but still grip if i decide to spray my car.
2. What else should i get? (pressure plate, flywheel, ect.)
3. Will i be able to do this at my house?( i am fairly good at working on cars) And if i can do this at my house, do i need any special tools?
4. Any special process in revoving the clutch? (do i have to drop the trans, etc.)
5. Any other advise would be appreciated
If there is a thread that contains all my answers then please direct me toward it and i will go away. I couldn't find any with the "search"
Thanks
Tyler

Yup direct replacement. Here is the direct link, they used to be 399, but went up a tad to 460. The clutch is designed for 550+hp

If you dont mind replacing it eventually (sooner than a Tex or Monster) then go for it. It will drive damn nice and is cheap

if you plan on spraying the car i would shy away from the ls7, you are simply going beyond what it was meant for in 500 lb heavier car as well. if you want to spray the car with reliability go with a tex z-grip, yeah it wont be as smooth, but you wont smoke it either
