Default Help with Wheel & Tire Purchase (1st Time)

I'm about to put down money for some new wheels. There is a possibility I can get some 19s for a great price and I wanted to know if it would be possible to get the same sidewall dimensions for both front and rear tires?

I see a lot of people running size 35 front tires and size 30 in the rear (or 40 front 35 rear with 18s). This really bugs me because they don't look uniform to me with the rears having a smaller sidewall. Would it be possible to run 35s or even 40s on both front and rear with no problems on 19" wheels?

I have 35's on the front and rear, with no spacer, just the BFH mod. The front is 18 and the rear is 19.

If I was you i would put that bird in a bubble and wait to see if pontiac dies cuz it will be worth ALOT lol. The reason people run staggered sets 35's 30's is because the rear tires are wider! You can run the same series ie 30's but the tires will all be the same size.
IMO i would run a 30 series tire like a 285/30r19 or something along that line if you dont want a staggered set but a lil rule of thumb is for every rim size you go up a series should go down (I think) ie 17rim=40series 18rim=35series 19rim=30series. but i could be wrong that what ive heard thats for NON-STAGGERED sets

I have 35 series in the front and 30 in the back and the sidewall is the same. The reason for it is like stated above. The fronts are only 245 and the rears are 275. You need the additional aspect ratio to make the sidewalls the same. If you run 275's all the way around then you will have the same sidewall with a 30 series tire.

Don't listen to him about your car being worth a ton if pontiac goes down. Maybe in 30 years, not tomorrow. Did you see any Oldsmobiles go way up in value when Olds when under? Get some 19's and drive the F*ck out of it.

Unless there's a new law that says pre-2003 cars don't have to pass emissions, I don't think the value will skyrocket
