Camaro & D1SC@12 PSI This is 2001 CAMARO WITH PROCHARGER D1SC Xtreme performance forged 347, 228/234 CAM, Hooker LT'S 1 3/4, AIS TRUNK MOUNT METHANOL KIT WITH DUAL NOZZLES,Borla exhaust.
Run#20 570RWHP without Meth and 14-15* timing
RUN#21 619RWP with Meth and with no change to the Tune
RUN#22 656RWHP 540RWTQ with Meth and 19* timing
just to let you know am using VPRACING M3 methanol with power enhancer

So just adding meth you gained 49 rwhp, and then added 4-5*'s timing to it and gained another 37 rwhp, for a total of 86 rwhp by adding meth and retuning. Very nice !!! I don't know much about meth injection other then it helps control IAT's. My question is how much is it going to cost for Methanol to keep the extra 86 rwhp ?? Is Methanol expensive ??

Does the meth spray continuously, or only come on as the IAT's start getting too high?? 4 containers a year ?? How many miles do you drive a year ??
Could you drive this car on a 1200 mile one way road trip ??
Thanks for trying to help my uneducated a$$. I don't know if I will ever go FI, but if I do I am trying to find out how much of a PITA meth inj is or isn't.

His meth system is a premium progressive setup from Alkycontrol. It comes with it's own 2 bar sensor so that it can 'see' boost. The setup mentioned above you works like this: at about 4psi of boost the meth comes on at a relatively low level. It's output ramps up in volume with boost. Basically it's only on when you are "on it". If I went on a 1200 Mile one-way trip I'd drive my truck

all runs @ 12 PSI and the CR IS 9.8.
it starts spraying @ 8 PSI and the methanol am using is from VPRACING CALLED M3 which has some power enhancer, not 100% pure like the M1.
tried both and got about 10-15HP more power with the M3.
