Default Replacing pistons and rod bearings with motor in car?

I'm replacing my rod bolts so while I'm there can I replace the bearings without any machine work? Also how about the pistons? I have an opportunity to get some forged pistons cheap and have been told I can do it in car just have to hone the walls to seat the rings. I always thought I would have to machine **** to do that stuff, could you guys shine some light on this for me?

with new pistons you need to rebalance the rotating assembly.

yes, just make sure you check everything with a micrometer or at least plastigage. you dont want to have too loose or tight clearances.

Can you even get a piston/rod combo out of the top of the motor while it's in the car? Specifically the back 4 pistons?
