Default torque management

Is there anything to be gained messing with Torque Managment with LS1 Edit? Is it worth messing with?

Small Gain VS Reduced Clutch/Band Life
I would do some WOT runs and log them with EFIlive or Autotap and see how much timing is being pulled out. The timing reduction happens right before a gear shift, you should see a huge drop in timing and then it bounce right back. I think mine goes to two or three deg’s for a frame or two.

I broke my Sun Shell gear pulling out on the highway at ½ throttle with the tires spinning. That was with stock setting for TM and stock trans. Once I pulled the trans a apart to rebuild it. I started to see why the 4l60e is so weak. Point is don’t disable TM altogether and I don’t mean turning it to 600. At the track, start out by raising it 25 foot-pounds and see if you see any gains. If you see none or very little you need to think about is that gain wroth a $2000 transmission?
