just did this last night...and its not that straight foroward and people have it wrong with the spacer...its a sleeve...the converter actually is about 1/16 from the flywheel when bolted up...no spacer needed...problems is the snout of the converter is smaller diameter than the hole in the back of the ls1 crank...ls1 have bigger snouts...SO you need a sleeve like one that comes from tci with their flywheels
also i believe they are differant bolt patterns on the converter, which is one more reason to run a tci flywheel, one bolt pattern works for lt1 one for ls1
the tranny lines are screw in on a lt1 car not on a ls1 keep that in mind
and the speedo sensor is a differant plug on a lt1 tranny then ls1 harness...tailhousings and sensors are NOT interchangable you need a new plug...
and as per performabuilt told me you need to change harnesses inside the tranmissions...simple to do basic mechanic skills can accomplish this, also the 2 solanoids in the front of the transmission helt in with clips need to be swapped...one will be missing on a lt1 transmission

The 94 is different than the other years. The 96 up is electrically plug and play.
The sleeve/spacer is for the converter pilot/snout due to the different diamter as mentioned.
The VSS sensor plug is different and indeed the plug may need to be changed this I had forgotten about but still not a big issue by any means.
As for the cooler lines I am ssuming hes installing and LSX engine in a 96 car if so that would be no issue,
If installing a lt-1 trans in and Lsx you would need to swap the cooler line fittings from and LSX trans.
What needs to swap around just depends on which way your going with the swap.
But again my understanding was puttting and LSX engine in a 96 car in which case the only mod needed for the trans to work is the crank "snout/pilot spacer or sleeeve" everything else would be plug and play as I said.

the senson CANT be swapped...the PLUG for the connector needs to be swapped...
you also need the crank sleeve...not sure where you can get one other then call tci...maybe a converter shop could help you...
and remember the 3 bolt holes for teh converter are differant bolt pattern
honestly easiest thing to do it probably get a tci flywheel, use that and the spacer and everything will be very easy...all youll need is the plug for the vss in the back of the trany
