Default magnaflow alteration question

As many of you know, the magnaflow comes with the hideous single slashed tips that a lot of people aren't attracted to.. Well, my question is, how much would an exhaust shop charge to cut those bad boys off, and extend the piping out the back and weld up a pair of corsa clones? Or is this even possible? I love the sound of magnaflow, but am utterly disturbed at the price of their quad tip system.. Any input would be great. Thanks everyone

How much did you buy the slash tip set up for? I've been searching around and there are a few sponsers that are selling the kit for around $579.00 including the shipping, thats way under summits $705.00 plus extra shipping. And to answer your question any muffler shop should be able to weld any tips to the pipes that u want

I would guess an exhaust shop would charge $50-75 to do it.

I thought about this too, but do you really wanna do so much hacking around? I hate those cannon tips as well. And for what its worth, that quad tipped kit can be had for, for under 500 bucks

where do you get the quad tip for under 500? I've been looking - best I can find is almost 600, which is 150 more than the standard tip.

I'm in the same dilemma as you. I hate the slash tips and am wondering the same about extending and welding. What did you end up doing?
