Help me squeak out .13 for an 11.99!!
What are a few things I can do without digging too much in the pocket book? I went to the track for the first time in about 8 months(probably longer) on all my toys I bought for the T/A. My mods and times are in my sig. I have some skinnies i run on and some 28x11.5 qtp's. What are some things I may just be over looking? I dont have much seat time as far as racing at the track. But I really want that 11 sec badge in front of my name. Any thoughts or input are appreciated

I think that is what he is saying, it should do it if you are not doing that. Maybe launching harder, you didn't say how you was launching, I do see the 1.62 short time but you could probably get alittle more than that out of that motor combo ya have.

Was the first time out on slicks. I started out at 4500 and got as high as 6k. I only launched low like that the first run to get the feeling of the car, next time was at 5500, and all other runs were made that high. It did feel pretty good, pulled the front tire and bent all five wheel studs on the driver side making the wheel a bitch to get off.

Well if not already done then take the spare tire and jack out. You can also try to run a couple more PSI in the skinnys and remove the front sway bar. By removing the front sway bar it will help you cut down your 60ft and take about 14-15 lbs off the front of the car. And Im pretty sure that the spare and jack wiegh in at 37 lbs. So that would be a total of 52 lbs off the car plus the back seat of corse.

Yeah the spare and jack was out, plus the back seats cause I had to. I might pull the front sway bar next time out. I did that a long time ago and hated it, but I also drove around like that too. Its like driving a boat. I just thought that maybe there was something I was perhaps overlooking.
