Wink adding bbk ssi intake and cutout have a few q's

hey guys i just got my new bbk ssi intake in and i also got my 3in cutout in.
the bbk looks like its very good quality and well built.
the few questions i have is that my car is tuned for a close to perfect a/f ratio and by adding the intake and cutout will my tune be off real bad?

also my intake dident come with new intake gaskets and i thought it was going to so is it suposed to come with them?.

im going from a ls1 intake to the bbk so what will i pick up?
my car has lt's,ory,p&p tb,ftra, 3in single exit custom magnaflow exhaust, free mods.

thanks guys!

The BBK is pretty much an aluminum LS6 intake so you will gain the same as going to one which is about 15 HP, and maybe 5 with the cut out. A tune would gain you even more but I don't think it will be absolutly necessary.

I would not be a bad idea to get it back on the dyno. Most tuners will only charge you dyno time for a retune. You can use your stock gaskets for the BBK or just buy new ones if they're worn out.

My car threw a service engine light after I installed my SSI. I also re-used my 74k miles original gaskets for the SSi with no problems. Be prepared to scrape the hell out of your hands and also be prepared to break the oil pressure sending unit. I knew exactly where it was and had read all about "how not to break it" and I still managed to break it. It might be a good idea to pick one up just in case along with the special socket you will need. It took me about 6 hours of work to get it finished and done. If you have any question, pm me.

swapping an intake takes about 1 hour if you've done it before. and yes, if you break that OP sender it will cost you over $30 bucks and some embarrassment.
